Tools I've tested
Beyond e-bikes I've reviewed battery yard tools, grills, fire pits and home gear like coffee makers and vacuums on the channel. Every pro, con and verdict here is quoted from my own video, with a timestamp so you can watch the moment yourself.
Lawn mowers 6 reviewed
Toro 60V 22" Recycler
“This is definitely a high quality mower and the price shows. There's other options out there, but if you want to buy a mower once, I would probably buy this Toro.”
EGO 21" Self-Propelled
“After using this lawnmower for the past 6 months, it definitely performs better than my gas mower that I got rid of.”
YARDCARE Mini
“If you are looking for a really small lawn mower, this provided plenty of power.”
Blade sharpener
“Super simple to uninstall the blade, sharpen and reinstall. Only took me about 10 minutes. I highly recommend this blade sharpener.”
Toro 30" eTimeMaster
“If you don't have a big yard go with a smaller Toro mower. If you have a large yard and you don't want to ride anymore, or your yard is not big enough for a riding mower, then this 30 inch mower might be the one for you.”
Toro Super Recycler
Trimmers & edgers 4 reviewed
Toro 60V Stick Edger + Pole Saw
“Super easy to operate, very lightweight and excellent quality as you would expect with any Toro product. And this 60 volt model is no different.”
Toro 60V String Trimmer
“If you really like the Toro mower, then you're probably going to like the all electric weed whacker as well.”
EGO String Trimmer
“So, this is a very solid product.”
Wild Badger Trimmer + Blower
“This to me in my opinion is perfect if you are older or if you just need a light duty weed whacker just to get some trimming done.”
Leaf blowers 2 reviewed
Toro 60V Leaf Blower
“If you're making the switch to electric power tools, definitely go with this Toro blower.”
EGO Handheld Blower
“If you're in the market for an electric blower, this thing is the best one out there. The battery makes it much more convenient than having to run a drop cord.”
Chainsaws 2 reviewed
Toro 60V Chainsaw
“This is not going to be the biggest chainsaw out there on the market… but this is definitely not your teeny-weeny chainsaw to cut limbs. This can definitely handle some pretty thick trees.”
TOMYVIC Mini Chainsaw
“I think that it has a ton of power and I think for most people this is going to be plenty of power for what they need a mini chainsaw for, whether it's pruning or just trimming some tree branches.”
Snow blowers 5 reviewed
Toro Power Max e24
“Again, overall, super impressed with this.”
Toro Power Max e26
“I'm convinced this is the exact same power that I would get out of a gasoline powered two-stage snowblower, but I don't have to use any gasoline.”
Toro Power Clear
“It does a phenomenal job in terms of sweeping the driveway off and making it crystal clear… it is so light and small it makes it really easy to use.”
Toro 60V Snow Blower + Power Shovel
“Overall this snow blower is awesome, and just like Toro's other 60 volt line I'm really impressed with the power that they're able to deliver with just a battery.”
Toro SnowMaster 24"
“With a quick stick chute control this is super easy to adjust while you're moving and makes this one of the best snow blowers I have tested.”
Grills 5 reviewed
Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill
“Overall I'm happy with it. I definitely overloaded the grill a little bit, but you can see that it did a nice job cooking the chicken all the way through and it is quite tasty.”
Ninja Foodi XL Pro IG651
“Great job Ninja, great job redesigning this grill. I believe they added a ton of new features.”
Ninja Foodi 5-in-1 AG301
“I really think the performance of this grill is vastly underrated because you get a consistent burger every single time just by setting the same settings.”
Char-Broil Edge Electric
“It did an excellent job cooking these steaks nice and juicy.”
Solo Stove Grill
“If you're in the market for a charcoal grill, this grill from Solo Stove should be at the top of your list.”
Fire pits 3 reviewed
Solo Stove Bonfire
“If you're on the fence and you are going to use it on multiple locations, then I would definitely go with the Solo Stove.”
Solo Stove Yukon 2.0
“The bonfire is a great option but this is now the Solo Stove I'd pick because I don't have to worry about stuff being too big to fit in here.”
Solo Stove Campfire
“It's just so simple and easy to use. I really can't say enough about this little mini fire pit.”
Robot vacuums 1 reviewed
Coffee makers 2 reviewed
Tchibo Espresso Machine
“Overall, this makes a really nice cup of coffee or espresso.”
Ninja DualBrew
“I just know that this coffee maker, I really like it and it works for me. And so if you're like most people and aren't psycho about coffee, then this is also going to work for you.”
