Buy the Bee Adventurer if you want a dual suspension fat tire e-bike with a throttle, a rear rack and a full set of safety lights for a lot less than most full-suspension bikes. I tested mine for several weeks on roads, paved trails and rough walking trails. It was one of the most comfortable rides I'd had at the time.

If you want a fat tire e-bike with a lot of power and a complete set of features for the money, the Bee Cool Pathfinder is a steal. It has a 750W rear hub motor, 4-inch tires, a twist throttle that works from a stop, turn signals, a horn, a color display, a rear rack and fenders. The brakes impressed me, and I rode over 40 miles without charging and still had plenty of battery left. The catch is weight. This is a heavy bike, so if you need to carry it up stairs or take it on public transit, look somewhere else.

Liked
- 750W rear hub motor with real punch
- Twist throttle that works from a stop
- Turn signals with LEDs and a horn
- Color display with 5 power levels
- 4-inch tires with traction on and off road
- Brakes that stopped me hard from about 20 mph
- Front fork suspension
- Headlight, tail light, rear rack, fenders and metal pedals included
- Over 40 miles on one charge with plenty left
Didn't
- Very heavy; you'll need a heavy-duty car rack
- Not a bike to carry up stairs or onto a bus or train
- The "always be cool" message on startup is a little silly
- Sold out on Bee Cool's site as of Oct 22, 2026
Who should skip each one
- Bee Cool Adventurer: skip it if this is a dealbreaker: I bottomed out the front fork on rooty trails
- Bee Cool Pathfinder: skip it if this is a dealbreaker: Very heavy; you'll need a heavy-duty car rack
